In my experience, anyone who finds you less interesting because of your ”small town” life/lack of worldly expereinces isn’t worth your time.
Also, no one is “out of your league,” anon. There are no leagues. We’re all people and you’ve got an equal shot with everyone out there. Holding people in higher regards like that tends to be a turn-off in itself. Most of the time, people want to be viewed on the same level as you.
Have you tried talking to her? I’m sure there’s more to yourself than you seem to think. And give her more credit, too; if she’s attracted you this much, do you really think she’s the type of person who would assume someone is uninteresting just because they come from a small town?

If you’ve been friends with him that long, it seems unlikely to me that your friendship would be ruined if he doesn’t feel the same. At the most maybe he’d want some space, but you don’t know what he feels, yeah? And if you’ve liked him for years— wow. I definitely think you should try to go for it.
